Pre Hawza Program (PHP)
OverView
The Pre-Hawza Program (PHP) in Islamic Studies is a one-year foundational course designed for students who aspire to deepen their understanding of Islam, develop strong moral character, and build the intellectual and spiritual foundation required for advanced Hawza (seminary) studies.
Through seven carefully selected subjects, the program offers a holistic journey into the Qur’an, Fiqh, Akhlaq, History, Languages, Seerah, and Comparative Religion—helping learners connect classical Islamic knowledge with contemporary global realities.
The program emphasizes spiritual growth, intellectual clarity, and moral refinement, equipping students to become future scholars, community leaders, and ambassadors of peace and interfaith understanding.

There are scholarships available for elite and sincere learners.

- Qur’anic Studies
Students will engage with the Qur’an as the divine source of guidance, exploring its linguistic beauty, thematic depth, and spiritual lessons.

- Introduction to Qur’anic Sciences (‘Ulum al-Qur’an)
- Structure, style, and themes of the Qur’an
- Tafsir of selected Surahs
- Methods of reflection (Tadabbur)
- Moral and social messages of the Qur’an
- Islamic Ethics (Akhlaq)
These subject nurtures the refinement of the soul and character, inspired by the teachings of the Prophet ﷺ and AhlulBayt (A.S).

An introductory study of Islamic law and practice, focusing on daily obligations and the reasoning behind them.
